NBM Honored for Community Impact at Boys & Girls Club Gala

At NBM, we’ve always believed that success in business goes hand in hand with giving back to our community. That’s why we’re incredibly proud and humbled to announce that we were selected as an honoree for the Bill Chetwynd Memorial Gala hosted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham & Wakefield.

A Legacy of Support

Since 2016, NBM has been a dedicated supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs, sponsoring numerous events and contributing to the organization’s growth. Our employees enjoy taking part by donating Christmas presents for the kids each year and participating in the Clubs’ “Dodging for Dollars” tournament. Our commitment stems from a deep-rooted belief in the Club’s mission to provide a safe, supportive environment where local youth can learn, grow and thrive.

“Being a good corporate citizen has always been important to us and a core value driving our company’s mission since its inception 40 years ago,” says Bill Tracia, our President and founder, “We believe in supporting local organizations that make an impact in the community we work and live in. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wakefield & Stoneham does just that.”

The Impact of Boys & Girls Clubs

Over the years, we’ve witnessed firsthand the incredible impact the Boys & Girls Clubs have on our community. From after-school programs to summer camps, the Clubs provide essential services that help shape the future of our youth.

“The work of the Clubs is invaluable to our local community,” Bill adds, “We have loved to see their recent growth and expansion, reaching more and more local kids and families in need than ever before.”

Looking to the Future

As we celebrate this honor, we’re also looking ahead to how we can continue supporting the

Boys & Girls Clubs and

other local organizations. By investing in our community, we’re not just building a better place to live and work—we’re investing in our shared future. While accepting the honoree award, VPs, Amie Geary and Nick Tracia, commented:

“Fulfilling Christmas wishes for specific children has been incredibly rewarding for all of us at NBM – from our warehouse personnel to our field service team to our sales team to our corporate department. We have incredible participation levels from our employees in these gift drives and it’s something we all enjoy doing to make Christmas brighter for the Club’s kids. That’s why this honor tonight is not only a reflection of NBM’s contributions as a company, but more importantly, a celebration of the collective NBM charitable spirit that binds our employees, company, and community together.”

We encourage our employees, partners and customers to join us in supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham & Wakefield. Whether through volunteering, donations, or simply spreading the word about their important work, every contribution makes a difference.
