Inventory Update

As you have probably heard, there is a significant shortage of computer chip inventory causing production delays across many industries.  Automobile manufacturers have had to slow production by as much as 25% and they do not anticipate any improvement until 2022.

Those same chips are required for the manufacturing of printers, scanners, and MFPs.  Several companies including Konica Minolta, Lexmark, and Ricoh are now in a back-order situation that is unlikely to improve in Q3 or Q4 of 2021.  To make matters worse, there are significant bottlenecks at the ports in Asia and on the West Coast causing further delays.

NBM is working closely with our partners to ensure that we will have inventory available to meet our customer’s needs for the balance of the year.  We have already advanced several purchase orders to bring in as many new units to our warehouse as possible.

Please get in touch with us if you have an expiring lease or are thinking about expanding your fleet.  It is more important than ever to place orders as soon as you can to give us time to source inventory that might not be readily available.
